JX2330/4+6+2/8 Type D Copper Rod Continuous Casting & Rolling Line
1. Application and Brief Description
The line is combined with the production experience of the Chinese Copper Rod Continuous Casting and Rolling production line and the advantages of the international well-known CCR brand. The rolling mill has 12 Nos Rolling Stands, which adopts the two-roller type and three-roller type designation. No. 1 to No.4 are 2-roller type stands, No.5 to No.10 are 3-roller type stands, which are suitable for rolling of copper scrap production. The No.11 and No.12 are 2-roller type stands, to ensure the super roundness ofφ8mm copper rod.
2. Process Flow
Copper Scrap→ Scrap Refining Furnace → Launder → Continuous casting (Billet) → Upward hauling → Casting bar treatment (shearer, waste ingots discharge, straightening-edge shaving -brushing machine) → Rolling (automatic feeding) → Continuous rolling → Copper rod surface cooling and recovery system → Continuous rod rewinding device → Basket drop coiler (rod coiling).
3. Raw Material Requirement
3.1 Using red copper scrap as the raw material, the mixture ratio is as the below:60% of the 1^st grade copper adds 40% of the 2^nd grade copper.
3.1.1 The first-class copper consists of clean, non-tinned, non-alloy copper cables, which must not break and burned wires. (Pb<100,Sn< 300,Ni< 50,Zn<50,Fe<50,Sb<20)
3.1.2 Secondary copper: it composed of small diameter non-insulated wires, usually telephone wires with varnished or paper insulation copper bars, copper wires, and thick or thin clean copper rods.
3.2 If adopt the cathode as raw materials, the Copper Cathode Electrolytic Grade A is required, the copper purity should be 99.975%-99.99%, the 1^st grade scrap copper (barely) can be mixed, but the percentage is better no more than 10%-15%.
3.3 The raw material mentioned above is only for reference, it depends on the requirements of copper rod quality and technology.
